Enterprise Reservoir

For Jess' day off, we took the kids to Enterprise Reservoir, located on the Dixie National Forest west of Enterprise, Utah. The sky was threatening showers when we left so we didn't take our swimsuits. By the time we arrived, the sun was shining, temps were rising and we were all hot. So...who needs a swimsuit to cool off? Noah was the first to take the plunge, and has since learned to look before you leap. He dove into the water and landed belly first on a rock (first picture below you can see him high-centered on it). It scraped him up a bit, but he toughed it out. We all agreed it was a beautiful place and a future camping destination. In search of silence for the drive home, I gave each of the kids a dollar and told them the first one to talk had to give me their dollar...they all made it home with their dollar. Jess and I made it home with our sanity.
