Cascade Falls

Point in every direction from Cedar City and you will find complete awesomeness. Trying to decide where to explore is harder than the actual exploration. Our latest destination, we chose a small hike to Cascade Falls on the Dixie National Forest where water emerges from a cliff side. It's source is a small lake uphill where water drains through a lava tube. The hike and falls were beautiful! It was windy, which cooled off the temps a bit, making the desert heat bearable. Jess had the boys sniffing trees, then gave them a little lesson in species identification.
